We are looking to add a Glass/Glazing Project Manager with strong communication skills, a passion for the industry, and diverse commercial glass experience.

Education and Experience:
- 3+ years' experience in a commercial construction role, including project estimating, management or operations required
- 1+ years' experience in glazing strongly preferred
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of ducation and experience required
Essential functions:
- Learns Go-Glass' mission, core values, services, policies, and operational procedures.
- Estimating, closing & managing a portfolio of commercial glass projects with current and targeted general contractors
- Work with Commerical Manager and team to faciliate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables and implementation of project and schedule project timelines
- Learns and observes the process behind reviewing initial project contracts and how change orders are reviewed, compiled, and issued, asking questions to gain understanding to help aid in developing a plan for attaining budget profitability
- Develop full scale project plans, read architectural, shop drawings, specifications & cut sheets adhering to both national and local jurisdiction codes
- Effectively create and communicate RFI’s with general contractors and architects
- Builds rapport with internal commercial department team, our external team members, and vendors that we partner with, including General Contractors, Designers, Architects, etc.
- Work efficiently with Commerical Manager to make sound decisions to keep several projects running at the same time, while looking ahead and working on proposals for your next projects, asking questions as needed for success
- Spends time visiting designated job sites to get familiar with the type of projects Go-Glass works on and our clients
- Reviews, compiles, and issues orders and knows how to identify and communicate changes in scope of work
- Complete ongoing sales orders in the company’s accounting software as the projects changes and grows
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
Skills & Aptitudes:
- Strong Understanding of fabricating curtainwalls, storefronts & entrances
- General working knowledge of the process behind estimating, purchasing, reading blueprints, and calculating material take-offs strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability of organizational, time management, and project estimating/management skills in a fast-paced environment required
- Exceptional math skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and a learner mentality required
- High level of efficiency and accuracy.
- Willingness to comply with all local, state, federal, and company regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent intrapersonal skills with a high self-initiative with the ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills working with various programs including MS Word and Excel

Physical demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach above head with hands and arms, lift push, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl, pull, talk, and hear. The employee must lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Vision may be corrected within normal range. The noise level in the work environment can be high. Working indoors and outdoors is a regular occurrence. The employee is required to work on ladders of all sizes as well as off scaffolding, swing staging, and other man-lifting devices.
Travel Required:
Travel is frequent, to and from job sites on the Delmarva Peninsula. A company-branded take-home vehicle is provided.
